Speak a wish into the well and the words will be translated into a video ripple inside. Turn the crank to rotate the video. The audio recordings will be collected into a database within the sculpture. The wishes will be curated and presented on wishingwellnyc.org to extend the artwork beyond the site. This site-specific wishing well sits on the site of a historic well on the Dyckman property.
